College Curiosity

Do you have to major in religion if you go to a Christian college?

Christian universities in no way require students to major in religion. Attendees can choose to major in a secular subject or a religious major such as Biblical Studies. Regardless of the degree or program, class content and curriculum will be reinforced through positive values and core Christian beliefs.

What are some advantages for going to an out of state university?

Plenty of universities and colleges offer scholarships and lower tuition for out of state students. Attending an out of state also means being farther away from home, so this allows for a lot ore growth and independence.

  1. I had the same question about the advantages of going to and out of state college and I agree because it helps you become more of an adult. Great question.

  2. What I've noticed about out of going to an out of state college so far while filling out applications is that the acceptance rate is lower than that of residents. Just know that if you apply out of state, there will be some disadvantages that accompany the advantages.

  3. These are the two questions I was going to ask! Going out state is a big change and I'm nervous. But, if it's a Christian university I would feel a lot more comfortable. Are you thinking about going out of state?

  4. Yeah I need to know of some good/fun out of state colleges. I want to leave California, but I'm worried because California has everything . I don't want to go to a out of state college where there is nothing to do but college activities.
