welcome to the internet
The internet is the home of many trolls and often they go around and hate on people for no reason or just write funny things online. You can find a lot of trolls in places like YouTube comments or other sites that allow people to comment about others anonymously. I believe that people who troll people unanonymously and continuously aren't considered trolls but just bullies. Some trolls can be funny and give you a laugh too. My thoughts on this chapter are that trolls with bad intentions to actually hurt people should be stopped but people messing around for some laughs shouldn't be punished.

Most trolls are considered bullies behind a computer screen. A lot of these people think they can get away with saying anything they want because they may not have to deal with the consequences of something bad happening. I definitely agree with you on how people should be stopped if they want to hurt others, but I disagree with you on how people should not be punished for messing around. In a troll's eyes, messing around could be making fun of someone just for a laugh.
ReplyDeleteIt usually does start out as “just for laughs” but that would make the target more open to others would do it to hurt people. At that point, the situation has intensified because now the person getting laughed at by one, is now getting laughed at by all.
